of the Construction Specifications Institute website.
CSI Mission Statement
“First, CSI exists to advance the process of both creating and
sustaining the built environment. The Institute will immediately
begin developing products and services along the lines of our core
purpose. Next, it will be for the benefit of the entire construction
industry, all professionals and all sectors. Finally, CSI will
leverage its greatest asset—the broad diversity of its
membership—with professionals from the design, owner and facility,
constructor and management communities coming together to exchange
knowledge.”
